Vibrio vulnificus in Denmark

Isolation, identification and characterization

Rapporten viser, at Vibrio vulnificus var udbredt i danske marine miljøer omfattende kystnært vand, sediment vildfisk og skaldyr. Der blev påvist relativt lave koncentrationer af Vibrio vulnificus, men forekomsten blev favoriseret af vandtemperatur over 20 C. Vibrio vulnificus blev isoleret fra rå, frosne importerede skaldyr og fra danske blåmuslinger, men i ringe antal.
