Glutaraldehyde is classified for acute toxic effects (T;R23/25
- toxic by inhalation and if swallowed), for corrosive effects (C;R34 - causes burns), for
sensitisation (R42/43 - may cause sensitisation by inhalation and skin contact), and for
effects on the environment (N;R50 - very toxic to aquatic organisms) (MM 1997). |
