Abstract
The report contains a brief overview of the state of the Artic
environment. The report assess on this background existing conventions,
agreements etc. regarding marine pollution and identifies gabs and
suggests Nordic proposals to be initiated to protect and improve the
environmental conditions of the Arctic Marine Area

Resumé
dan: Redegørelsen indeholder en kort beskrivelse af miljøtilstanden i Arktis. På denne baggrund evalueres eksisterende konventioner, aftaler m.m. vedr. havforurening og mangler identificeres. Der gives forslag til iværksættelse af nordiske foranstaltninger til forbedring af miljøtilstanden i det arktiske havområde.
