Ozone depleting substances and the greenhouse gases HFCs, PFCs and SF₆

Danish consumption and emissions 2001

Abstract
The report assesses the Danish consumption in 2001 of ozone-depleting substances and consumption and emissions in 2000 of the industrial greenhouse gases (HFCs, PFCs and SF₆.   The consumption of ozone-depleting substances is roughly the same as in previous years.  Emissions of greenhouse gases are calculated at approx. 700 CO₂ equivalents weighted by ODP.  Emissions in 2000 were approx. 800 tons, and thus, this is the first rime a reduction is seen in actual emissions. HFCs for refrigeration purposes represent by far the largest fall.
