This theme report describes the changes in our production and consumption patterns with 32 selected indicators. The changes are described in simple terms for each indicator as well as the political objectives for the area.

Internationally, the report follows up the World Summit in Johan-nesburg in 2002, where sustainable production and consumption patterns were highlighted as a significant challenge.
