Health and Environmental Assessment of Alternatives to Deca-BDE in Electrical and Electronic Equipment

Abstract
The study evaluates the environmental and health related properties of 6 out of 26 known alternatives to the brominated flame retardant deca-BDE. None of the 6 substances appear to have more negative impacts on the environmental, health and/or consumer safety than deca-BDE..
