Survey of nanotechnological consumer products

Abstract
The development within nanotechnology is running fast. However the number of "nano-products" on the Danish marked for consumer products is still limited. This is the results of a survey made by DHI Water and Environment and the Technical University of Denmark. By 2006, at the end of the survey 243 consumer products was identified. It is mainly dirt rejecting surface treatments for home use and automobiles, cosmetics - especially sunscreens, articles for sport and clothing. All products are produced abroad and a little more than half of the products are only sold via the internet.
