Abstract:
The potential of weed harrowing is known from organic farming but the real price and the effect on Skylark nests are debated. We demonstrate that weed harrowing leaving 15 g weed (dry mass) per m2 will conserve beneficial insects at a cost of only 0.75 hkg per hectare. At a maximum of two times harrowing, not later than 35 days from crop emergence and before 20 May, Skylarks, insects and economy are ensured. Fields with breeding Lapwings should not be harrowed.

At mekanisk ukrudtsbekæmpelse kan erstatte kemisk behandling vides fra økologisk produktion, men til hvilken pris? - og hvad med fuglerederne? Nu er det påvist, at strigling som efterlader 15 g (tørret) ukrudt pr m2 kan sikre nytteinsekter for en samlet merudgift på kun 0,75 hkg vårkorn pr. ha. Der skal maksimalt foretages 2 behandlinger, som udføres senest 35 dage efter såning og inden 20. maj, for at sikre lærker, insekter og økonomi. Ynglearealer for viber bør friholdes
