Abstract:
A technical and economic assessment of scenarios for the implementation of an EU Directive for control of 33 priority substances in the aquatic environment has been undertaken. It is demonstrated that with few exceptions the proposed environmental quality standards are generally met in Danish surface waters. Solutions to potential problems are suggested, including Community measures for the achievement of the Water Framework Directive reduction targets for priority substances, and the economic consequences are assessed.

Der er foretaget en teknisk og økonomisk vurdering af scenarier for implementering af et EU-direktiv til regulering af 33 prioriterede stoffer i vandmiljøet. Det påvises, at med få undtagelser er de foreslåede miljøkvalitetskrav generelt opfyldt i danske overfladevande. Der foreslås løsninger på potentielle problemer, herunder fællesskabsforanstaltninger til opfyldelse af vandrammedirektivets reduktionsmål for prioriterede stoffer, og de økonomiske konsekvenser er vurderet.
