Biologisk nedbrydning af organiske mikroforureninger

Summary

This report describes a project where tests have been performed with post -aeration of wastewater sludge. The purpose of the tests was to evaluate the possibilities of developing a simple process for removal of organic micropollutants (LAS, DEHP, NPE and SPAH) from wastewater sludge. The treatment purpose was to remove the organic micropollutants to an extent where the sludge, after being treated, could obey the limit values specified in the Danish Energy- and Environmental Ministry’s statutory order no. 823 (1996) for disposal of wastewater sludge on farmland, which will become effective the 1st of July 2000.
