Beregningerne er udført i PHREEQC vers. 1.4.07, som er et beregningsprogram til hydrokemisk transport modellering udviklet af D.L Parkhurts og C.A.J. Appelo (for yderligere information se http://water.usgs.gov/software/phreeqc.html).
Der er regnet på forskellige “worst case scenarier”, dvs. hvor maksimal koncentrationer (mg/L) af metallerne har været anvendt som input-data til modellen.
