Danish experience. Best Available Techniques – BAT - in the clothing and textile industry

Abstract
The report describes the best Danish experience with cleaner technology within the clothing and textile industry. focusing on four areas: "pigment printing", "reactive dyeing of cotton", "enzymatic desizing" and "chemical savings and substitutions". Within these four areas, a number of implemented cleaner technology solutions have been described and evaluated in relation to environmental benefits and effects, general applicability within the industry, economy and driving force for implementation.
