Abstract:
Sex toys may contain certain chemicals such as phthalates like e.g. DEHP and DINP (softeners), phenol, carbon disulfide, organotin compounds. Some of these can be released during use of the sex toys. The results show that there is no risk using the sex toys once a week. However there can be a (minor) risk using dildoes/ vibrators for pregnant/nursing if the products are used each day for 1 hour.

Abstract in Danish:
Sexlegetøj kan indeholde en række stoffer som f.eks. ftalater som DEHP og DINP (blødgørere), fenol, carbondisulfid, organiske tinforbindelser m.fl. En del af disse stoffer kan frigives i forbindelse med brugen af sexlegetøjet. Rapporten viser, at det ikke er forbundet med sundhedsfare at anvende sexlegetøjet ved normalt brug (1 gang om ugen). Der er dog for nogle af vibrator/dildoernes vedkommende en (mindre) risiko forisær gravide og ammende ved 1 times dagligt brug.
