A Scenario Model for the Generation of Waste
Abstract
The waste model is a simple scenario model which converts forecasts for the economic
development to scenarios for waste generation. Given alternative economic developments,
the model may be used to analyse how the economy affects waste generation. The model is
based on the information System for Waste ISAG and the macro economic model ADAM. The
model assumes proportionality between the amount of waste and the waste generating
economic activity.
