1998 Fuel Use and Emissions for Danish IFR Flights

Abstract
This report explains a city-pair fuel use and emission inventory made for all IFR (Instrumental Flight Rules) flights leaving Danish airports in 1998.  Pollutants covered are CO, NOx, VOC, CO2 and SO2. The calculations have been made for domestic and international LTO (Landing and Take Off) and cruise according to the new detailed CORINAIR (CooRdination of INformation on AIR emissions) methodology.  Project results will improve annual Danish air traffic emission estimates

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency will, when op-portunity offers, publish reports and contributions relating to environmental research and development projects financed via the Danish EPA.

Please note that publication does not signify that the contents of the reports necessarily reflect the views of the Danish EPA.

The reports are, however, published because the Danish EPA finds that the studies represent a valuable contribution to the debate on environmental policy in Denmark.
