Carbon monoxide. Develops from incomplete combustion of coal
and carbonaceous substances, e.g. in internal combustion engines. CO is a very toxic gas
and causes death in heavy concentration.

NOx’er may cause irritation of the respiratory tracts, asthmatic reactions, acid rain
and it contributes to developing ozone and photochemical smog.
