Summary: Flora and fauna changes during conversion to organic farming During two years the effects of conversion to organic practice was investigated in fields with spring barley and winter wheat, which were previously included in an investigation of effects of reduced pesticide dosages. For plant and insect abundance the effect of conversions is almost equal to 75% dosage reduction. However, flowering is doubled and seed amount increases by 35, a number of prey insects increase in amount and 55% Skylarks are seen. Conversion may be considered a route to increasing nature elements but local agricultural problems should also be
considered.

Effekter på biodiversitet i agerlandet ved overgang fra konventionel til økologisk drift I to år er betydningen af
omlægning til økologisk drift undersøgt i vårbyg- og vinterhvedmarker, der årene forud er anvendt til undersøgelser
af nedsatte pesticiddoseringer. På artsomfang og tætheder af
planter og insekter virker omlægningen meget lig kvart dosering. Dog fordobles blomstringen, fømængden på jorden øges
35 gange og en række værdifulde bytteinsekter for fugle går yderligere frem, og der ses 55% flere lærker. Samlet kan
midlertidig omlægning eller udeladelse af pesticider ses som et muligt tiltag for større naturindhold - dog med behørig
hensyntagen til lokale landbrugsforhold.
