Abstract:
The report contains a review of different European projects on the health and environmental effects of artificial turfs and results of laboratory tests on turfs that are being used in Denmark. The results show that there are no real problematic effects on health, but environmental effects can be expected under the worst circumstances. The effects can however be minimised by e.g. optimal drainage.

Rapporten indeholder en gennemgang af europæiske undersøgelser af de sundheds- og miljømæssige effekter af kunstgræsbaner samt resultatet af laboratorieundersøgelser foretaget på kunstgræsbaner, der anlægges i Danmark. Resultaterne viser, at der ikke er sundhedsmæssige effekter af betydning, men at der kan forekomme miljømæssige effekter under de værst tænkelige forhold. Effekterne kan dog minimeres ved fx optimal dræning.
