Abstract:
Occupational and household exposure to pesticides occurs during mixing and spraying and in greenhouses during re-entry activities when plants are handled right after pesticide treatment. The dominating route of exposure to pesticides is dermal. This report includes information on risk related to use of pesticides, information on variability and individual susceptibility, information on use of gloves, and discuss potential consequences for regulatory guidelines implemented and used by regulatory agencies.

Abstract in Danish:
Udsættelse for bekæmpelsesmidler sker såvel erhvervsmæssigt som privat, oftest under blanding, udbringning, eller når planter håndteres umiddelbart efter behandling med bekæmpelsesmidler. Den dominerende eksponeringsvej for bekæmpelsesmidler er via huden. Rapporten indeholder information om risici ved brugen af bekæmpelsesmidler, forhold af betydning for den enkeltes hudabsorption, vigtigheden af at bruge egnede personlige værnemidler, samt bud på indsatsområder i forhold til lovgivning/regulering.
