Forbrug af glycolethere i Danmark

Råvarer

Tabel F.1 angiver forsyningen af de rene glycolethere, hvor tallene er baseret på tal fra Danmarks Statistik (Danmarks Statistik 2001). Det fremgår heraf, at forbruget af monomethylethere af ethylenglycol eller diethylenglycol er faldet med tiden, mens forbruget af monobutylethere af ethylen- og diethylenglycol tilsyneladende er nogenlunde konstant. Ud fra disse tal kan det dog ikke vurderes, om forbruget af både butylethere baseret på ethylenglycol og diethylenglycol har holdt sig nogenlunde konstant, eller om forbruget af f.eks. monobutylether baseret på diethylenglycol er vokset og forbruget af monobutylether baseret på ethylenglycol samtidigt er faldet.

Den samlede forsyning af glycolethere i Danmark er således faldet fra ca. 5.633 tons i 1999 til 4.835 tons i 2000 og 3.545 i 2001.

En del glycolethere bliver både importeret og eksporteret som indholdsstoffer i produkter, f.eks. i malervarer. Denne import og eksport af glycolethere er ikke inkluderet i tabel F.1.

De oplysninger, som kan hentes fra Produktregisteret, er baseret på indmeldinger fra virksomheder. Ifølge lovgivningen skal ændringer meddeles til Produktregisteret, når importerede eller fremstillede mængder ændres med mere end 10%. Undersøgelser viser dog, at denne ajourføring ikke altid finder sted, hvorfor de følgende tal skal tages med forbehold. En gennemgang af oplysninger fra Produktregistret kan dog give en indikation af hvilke anvendelsområder, der er relevante for de forskellige glycolethere. Tabel F.2 viser de anvendte mængder af de forskellige glycolethere i henhold til oplysninger i Produktregisteret.
