Abstract
eng: The work carried out in this project was focussed on two issues, i.e. do sulfonylurea
herbicides in general affect leaf-eating insect larvae and is the observed effects caused
by phenolic compounds. This report demonstrates that the effects observed on
herbivorous insects following treatment with chlorsulfuron is not found for two other
sulfonylurea herbicides. In the chlorsulfuron case it was found that the mortality
was closely correlated to the content of specific phenols.
Resumé
dan: Dette projekt har undersøgt om minimidler kan være medvirkende til en forøget
dødelighed af tre arter af bladædende insektlarver og om de observerede effekter er
bestemt af indholdet af fenoliske stoffer. Det blev kun i et enkelt tilfælde fundet, at
behandling med ukrudtsmidlet påvirkede insekterne. I dette eksempel fandt vi en
sammenhæng mellem indholdet af fenoler og overlevelsen af insektet. For de andre
undersøgte ukrudtsmidler og insektarter fandt vi ikke nogen effekt.
