Integration of Environmental considerations at different levels of decision making

Abstract
The purpose of this study has been to develop a methodology for assessing progress towards integration of environmental concerns in decision making. The framework can heklp to identify additional tools which could be used to progress integration, to establish the necessary conditions for their effective implementation and to identify the key stakeholders to be involved in the process. The methodology is developed on the basis of selected results and examples from sectors. This part of the project is developed mainly on the basis of litterature studies.

Formålet med projektet har været at udvikle en metode til vurdering af fremskridt med integration af miljøhensyn i beslutningsprocesser på       forskellige niveauer (mikro-meso-makro).  Den forslåede metode kan  anvendes med henblik på at identificere yderligere instrumenter, der kan bruges til at fremme integration, etablere de nødvendige rammer for en effektiv implementering og identificere aktører, som kan involveres i processen.   Metoden er uddybet og illustreret ved udvalgte resultater og eksempler fra sektorer. Denne del af projektet er udarbejdet overvejende på baggrund af litteraturstudier.
