Summary

The present report describes a number of examples of the calculation of road traffic noise. The examples are based on two imaginary situations, a countryside case and a town case, and serve the purpose of enabling the verification of a given software giving results in compliance with the joint nordic method for the calculation of road traffic noise [1].

L_Aeq and L_AFmax have been calculated for a total of 14 different calculation points with the intent of testing every correction term in the calculation method. For every point an acceptable interval for the calculated result is also given.
